Life’s been pretty deec lately. I’ve been keeping my head down and staying out of trouble (mostly), and I’ve been focusing most of my energy on my stand-up comedy. It feels like it’s starting to pay off with both rooms and pockets filling up at a steady pace. Most recently, I was asked to be the support slot at Savanna’s Comedy Bar at Bellezar in Umhlanga, with Richelieu Beaunoir as the host, Robby Collins as the headliner, and Kamaney as the opener. Ja, with that line-up you know the show banged.
After the show, I had the pleasure of chatting to Louise Phama who wanted to know more about my approach to comedy, and what I’ve learned along the way. She turned my short, wry answers into a couple hundred words that make me look way more thoughtful than I usually come across.
